These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OraStudy application and related services ("OraStudy", the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use OraStudy. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You sign in using Google. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You retain ownership of the documents and content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant OraStudy a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — including extracting text and sending relevant excerpts to AI providers to generate study features at your request.
You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.

OraStudy uses AI to generate quizzes, summaries, and explanations. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You should not rely on it as a sole source of truth and should verify important information against your original materials. OraStudy is a study aid, not a substitute for your own judgement or official course materials.
If you connect Google Drive, OraStudy uses the drive.file scope and can only access files it creates in your Drive. You can disconnect Drive at any time from the app or from your Google Account permissions.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, including AI features, which may be paused or limited to manage cost and reliability. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OraStudy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
